The bluebird is a fragile creature
small heart beating swiftly – pulsing, blithe.
Swift its flight
and glimpses of its plumage fleeting
as in dreams
that vanish with the light.
More than happiness,
more than love I wish you;
more than standing always side by side:
I wish you journeys
down the paths of wisdom,
beyond entrancing dreams
to joyous life.
